Aries Dishie and a little Aries 101

Happy spring everyone! I’ve come up with 12 new patterns to share with you and they are the 12 signs of the Zodiac!

Each month, the new dishcloth will come out with a little bit about the sign for that month. This first one is a little late, because life, but most of them should be coming out just about the time when the new sign changes over. Aries is in season from roughly March 19th through April 19th, and is the first sign in the Western Wheel of the Zodiac.

The nature of Aries is Cardnial Fire (Lightning), and it is the first sign in the Spring season. Aries’ color is red, and it’s ruled by the planet Mars.

Godforms are Mars/Ares, Athena/Minerva, Horus, and Tyr. You can go digging for others, these are just a few.

Tarot cards associated with Aries are The Emperor, and the King of Wands.

Stones and crystals associated with Aries are Garnet, Ruby, and Carnelian.

The best incense for Aries includes Dragonsblood in it’s mixture.

Aries rules the head and cerebral functions, and the drugs associated with it are all cerebral excitants.

Some of the many plants associated with this sign are Geranium, Tiger lily, Thistle, Nettles, Cacti, Hops, and Lichens.

When your sun is in Aries there is a tendency to assertion, leadership, and influence. Aries is a sign of action, passion, impulse, and drive. Being the first sign of life after death in spring, there is an energetic, childlike exuberance for Aries people. Exciting, impulsive, and hard to keep up with, but never ever dull.

When your moon is in Aries, there may be a deep need for self reliance, and autonomy in relationships. There may be a tendency for quick emotional flare ups and selfishness, but when your needs are being met, you are a passionate and surprising lover.

I hope you enjoy the new pattern! Here we have, the Aries Dishcloth! (You could also make them and stitch them together to make a blanket, a bag, or pillows!) If you would like to offer a gratuity for my work, I am always humbled and thankful. Cashapp $loveofthedark
