Leo Dishcloth and a little Leo 101

Hello friends! Welcome to Leo Season! Thank you for coming back for another Astro 101 and a free Knit Dishcloth or Blanket square pattern. Let’s take some time to celebrate the wonderfully celebratable Leo! (ok, ok we’re a few days early, but Spotlight Leo just couldn’t wait!…and I’m busy the next few days so…haha)

Leo enters the scene on July 22, and shines brightly until August 22.

The nature of Leo, is Fixed Fire (The Sun), and it is smack in the middle of the Summer Season. Leo’s color is primary yellow, and it is ruled by the Sun.

Godforms of Leo, are Apollo, Helios, Sol, and all Solar Deities.

Tarot cards associated with Leo are Strength, and the Prince, or Knight of Wands.

A great incense for Leo should include Frankincense.

His precious stone is Cat’s eye, and his perfume is Frankincense.

Vegetable drugs of the Sun are carminatives, and tonics, and he rules the heart and upper back.

Some of the plant associations of the Sun, are Sunflower, Saffron, Marigold, Eyebright, St. Johns Wort, Angelica, Daffodil, Poppy, Heliotrope, Mint, and Lavender.

If your sun is in Leo, you are perfectly at home in your own skin. You genuinely care about people, and you have an abundance of friends. You are gregarious, personable, and could develop a cult of personality easily. Be careful with that. People really enjoy your presence.

If your moon is in Leo, You are outgoing and generous, but can also be seen as egotistical and proud. You are ambitious, independent, and a natural born leader. Your need for affection and romance is strong, and you may find yourself feeling the need to show off.

Please enjoy this free knit pattern for a dishcloth, or a blanket square, featuring the symbol of Leo. If you would like to offer a gratuity for my work, I am always humbled and thankful. Cashapp $loveofthedark
